This website uses technical cookies to ensure the smooth functioning of the procedures and to improve the user’s browsing experience. The present document gives detailed information on the use of the cookies and of similar technologies, on how they are used by Pesci Combattenti S.r.l. and on how they can be managed as provided for in by the applicable law and regulations , further to the simplified arrangement for the information notices and the acquisition of consent for the use of the cookies as published in the Italian Official Journal No. 126 of 3 June 2014 and the relevant register of measures No. 229 of 8 May 2014.

Definitions

Cookies are simple text files that the websites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same websites on the subsequent visit. On the other hand, the so-called “third party” cookies are set by a website other than the one the user is visiting. This happens because on each website certain elements residing on servers different from that of the site visited (such as images, maps, sounds, specific links, web pages of other domains, etc.), may be found.

Types of cookies

Based on their characteristics and on their use, cookies can be of different types:

  • Technical cookies. Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication on an electronic communications network or insofar as this is strictly necessary to the provider of an information society service that has been explicitly requested by the contracting party or user to provide such service. They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the website. They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal use of the website; analytics cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site; functional cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria in order to improve the service rendered to the same. For the installation of these cookies, the prior consent of users is not required, but the site operator has to provide the information notice which may be provided in the manners the site operator deems to be more appropriate in the event only such devices are used.

  • Profiling cookies. Profiling cookies are designed to create profiles related to the user that are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same while navigating the Net. Due to the particular invasiveness that such devices may have in the private sphere of the users, both European and Italian legislations require the user to be adequately informed about their use and to express a valid consent. This website does not use profiling cookies.

“Third-party” cookies

By visiting this website you may receive cookies from sites managed by other organizations (“Third Parties”). An example is the presence of “social plugins” for Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or Linkedin, or systems for displaying embattled multimedia content, such as YouTube, Flikr. These are parts generated directly from the aforementioned sites and embedded into the webpage of the visited host site. The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all the sites managed by Third Parties. The management of information collected by Third Parties is governed by the relevant information notices to which reference is hereby totally made. To ensure greater transparency and to allow easier consultation, please find below the links to the various information notices and how to manage cookies.

Visitor Analytics

For the sole purpose of monitoring and improving this website performance, we use a statistical analysis market product aimed at the detection of access to the website. This may use cookies, permanent or not, for the purpose of collecting statistical information and/or information on the visitors of this website. In particular, during their normal operation, computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire some data, whose transmission is implicit in the use of the Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes: the IP addresses, the type of browser used, the operating system, the type of device, the information on the pages visited by users within the site, the time of access and other parameters related to the operating system and the user's computer environment. These technical/IT data are collected and used exclusively in an aggregated and immediately non-identifying manner. However, they could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of potential computer crimes against this website. Duration of cookies

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or when a logout command is executed. Other cookies "survive" when the browser is closed and are also available in subsequent visits by the user. These cookies are called persistent and their duration is set by the server when they are created. In some cases a deadline is set, in other cases the duration is unlimited.

Managing cookies

The user may decide whether or not to accept cookies by using the settings of his browser.

Warning: the total or partial disabling of technical cookies could compromise the optimal use of this website.

The uninstallation of Third-Party cookies does not affect the navigability in any way.

The setting can be defined specifically for different websites and web applications. In addition, the browsers allow the user to define different settings for both "first party" and "third party" cookies. As an example, in Firefox, through Tools → Options → Privacy menu, you can access a control panel where you can define whether or not to accept the different types of cookies and proceed with their removal. On the Internet it is easy to find information on how to set the cookie management rules for the browser used by the user. By way of example, below are some links referred to the main browsers:
